we don’t know at the moment what the situation will be in December. You can join an ASQ review group. Actually some hotels do allow visits through glass - you can speak on the phone while seeing each other. So far no Udon ASQ but one may get added- there is one in Buriram. It looks likely that there will be some very limited tourism from October but you will probably have to quarantine on an island such as Phuket, possibly Koh Lanta, Samui etc; basically wait for actual government announcements before trying to book. Research your options though.

If you can afford it, check with the ASQ‘s if you can get a room with two beds Or one large bed.it doesn’t have to be a high end Resort in Phuket. It would either be in Phuket if they OK that or Bangkok where you will have a greater range of prices. Check with the people who are in charge of quarantine and ask them if they will let her join you, she and be tested And spend the two quarantine weeks together. If she agrees to this, you know she loves you.

December...I think you and your girlfriend should listen and follow the news every time better...

1. Currently unless you have a COE then you can enter.

2. Quarantine is solitary confinement. Means no visits for 2 weeks.

3. Maybe if they confirm the Phuket or whatever place tourist plan, your Gf can visit after your initial 2 weeks of quarantine.

4. I suggest you wait till probably october/November then ask more about this, before more triggered people comments because you are planning for December, there's not enough information at this point of time.

Quarantine means just that, you get to see no one, you cannot quarantine and have visitors, it defeats the object.

Simple answer to your questions.

1. No ASQ hotels in Udon

2. No she can’t visit you because you will be in quarantine.

3. You will not be able to come to Thailand in December unless restrictions regarding tourists change dramatically, and don’t hold your breath.

Check the list of Available hotels by googling Thai ASQ hotel they do seem to be adding more each week. It might be harder getting a flight but who knows things keep changing, I don’t know if visits are allowed either.

And plan or think now about December is useless because rules can change every moment

It's called quarantine for a reason... and there is no way of getting around it unless you are someone special to the Thai government... visiting your girlfriend doesn't fall under that category

What makes you think you can even come to Thailand?

You need a COE to come here.

You'll be in a room for 14 days. Absolutely no visitors in quarantine .

The idea of quarantine is to have no visitors

At the moment it's Bangkok only. Phuket MIGHT be added soon, but we don't know yet.
