the Thais hate the Chinese so China is out of the question. Korea is okay but the Thais would chose Japan over Korea. SE Asia is out of the question because she thinks that you are cheap. So she'll choose Japan just so she can tell her friends she is going to Japn for holiday. Itnis saving face.
