I am absolutely sure that expats can choose their own destination. Positive advise about countries treating expats well would be great. Let me know if and when you start such a FB group. As for me I have a home in India and Malaysia and Thailand. Feel comfortable in Thailand and want no special treatment ... glad to live and be treated like a Thai. Appreciate your comments.

true .... every nation going through the pains. Let us help where we can. The govt has a right to make the rules in EVERY nation. Let the citizens react. We can make our choices.

things are improving. Yes choked with people waiting to come in. The economy is improving? Which part of Thailand are you in right now? Or are you still choked/waiting to get through the process?

But .... things go on in Thailand. The wait list for those wanting to enter is massive. The economy is recocering with EVERY foreigner who comes in after following the tedious processes. We are here in Thailand and welcome and thank every single foreigner that comes in.

The noisiest insurance companies, hide far more than they reveal. Make a clear checklist, get everything disclosed before you take your insurance.
