that's why it's worth paying agent. Thailand know that most embassy are not certifying income anymore. It's a ploy to make you deposit large sum with no interest. I won't reward the bank. I make enough off interest on my money to pay agency and keep my money secured in American bank gaining 5 percent

I am been on a post pay plan for 5 years and still am. They tried to change it but I refused. In the end everything stayed the same

it's best where you live because of the bank book. Not all banks will issue you a new bank book. Many will tell you that is has to be done at original bank. Another stupid ass rule they make up. It's not the same umbrella for same branches of Bangkok bank am told. Still have not figured out why in the hell you would need a bank book. Immigration makes you get a certified letter from bank. They don't take the book at face value

I went to ais recently to change my phone plan and they tried to tell me I needed a work permit. I told them they were full of shit and ask for manager. Than they tried to tell me I was no longer able to have the unlimited internet account and I told I was no longer able to pay the bill. Than after everything I said I would post the experience and they changed their mind. I ask why they lie. Was it for their amusement. After looking at bank book she said oh you live here. It's always something.

yep it's power trip game. It's 2025 and everyone uses Google map. I used it and hand draw the map.

They came to my house the next day and interview people in the village. Atleast my investigation from the police were nice. They offered me have drinks with them in the future. But the lady at immigration was so rude. She said she didn't like the picture and ask why I didn't have a better house . She tried everything to find a reason not to approve until I got a supervisor and filed a police complaint against her. Things got approved immediately after that. Some people live here for years and never get the police visit.. they all have Google maps bit they want you draw a map as well. This day on age with GPS and Google maps they will still play games.
