Participante anónimo have you actually applied? When I paid for my application, trhu a credit card, the payment was towards the Thai Government in Thailand, maybe the Ministry of Foreing Affairs? Can't remember now. But, the embassies don't see or get any of that money, at least not directly from us.
Participante anónimo I mean, if you handle in an application stating that you'll be taking a soft power course for 6 months, and after that they issue a visa good for those six months, what's the problem then? Either show them you'll be taking classes for at least one year, or apply as a remote worker in order to assure you'll get a regular DTV.
No as it is written in advance that no matter what, no refunds will be given. Only if you click on "I understand and fully agree", then you can lodge your application.
If you've never heard of it, it's because you don't read the posts here in the group. Countless people have been demanded to either go to a in person interview, or to submit proof that you're at the country you say you are, including even selfie pictures with local stores or newspapers on the background + whole passport pages, to check that the exit or entry stamps match what you claimed.
not always. I mean, the definition you mention can apply very well for you, and/or most of the people, but not always applies to everybody. I was born in Costa Rica, for example, and I have a passport, but Costa Rica isn't neither my residence country, neither my home land, and it's never been.
it's just an arrival card. In the past they handled it by paper (printed). You can write whatever you consider relevant. I always write my country of residence as South Korea. Would they ask me "proof" of it? Of course not.
