I guess because New Zealand immigration c**ts are refusing tourist visas for Thais for unknown reasons and the Thai Embassy in New Zealand is retaliating.

Applied for my Thai wife for New Zealand. Showed like 40k USD in her bank, 15 countries travel history in 1 year (some very expensive destinations like Barbados, Saint Lucia etc) and a European residence permit.

Despite that, she was rejected for a Tourist Visa for no reason. I was pissed but just said OK then never I visit this country again hahah.

Now we are going to French Polynesia instead, spending money there 🙃

Just don't longer than 180 days in Thailand - problem solved

As soon as you reside in a country longer than 180 days, you are automatically triggering tax residence.

Tax residence in Thailand means AT THE MOMENT (they play to change it):

Every money that is being remitted into Thailand is being taxed.

If you make money offshore and it stays offshore and it's never being remitted to Thailand, it's not being taxed.
