@Mark ********
i am printing the WISE transfer disclosure receipt for each transfer to be included with my paperwork package at the next extension.

Of course I will also request the normal ‘credit advice letter’ from Bangkok Bank to accompany the bank book

I did a test. WISE transfers to Kbank still appear as “Trade Finance Deposit” - same as previous months.

However I will not switch banks mid year and try to explain the potential mess to immigration.

Or even hope to get the desired documentation from both Bangkok Bank & Kbank for partial years deposits

SWIFT transfer from Chase Bank US is received with the same label BAHTNET

Yes starts again. As mentioned already make sure you have exit/re-entry permit.

Also keep in mind you are supposed to to do a new TM30 upon your return

@Tom *****
most banks that I am aware of require you to have a US address otherwise they may close your account

@Roberto ********
I don’t know about panic. But there is some concern that immigration may not like/accept that Bangkok Bank has changed the labeling of incoming transfers.

I do the extensions myself and will just have to wait and see how it all pans out at the next extension renewal.

changes, create questions. I would say the fact that there are no definitive answers at this point does not make foreigners necessarily helpless..

@Nongnuch *******
already tested SWIFT from Chase Bank US to Bangkok Bank

2 days ago. It shows up as BAHTNET. No clear indication that it is from a foreign source either.
