That’s correct. I could go on a single entry, extend once, do a visatrip and extend again, but my experience is that Embassy’s and Immigration really ruin my mood.

Since we have a wedding near Laos near our first 60 days, we decided to do two borderruns/little holiday’s and avoid most bureaucracy.

Is the Letter to Stay in Thailand from the British Embassy for One Month or Longer?

I’ve asked Dutch Embassy and they said it’s for single use, because the expiry date will change. It’s to early to know how Immigrations will act on it.

I was informed Managing Director is ok for a one year, General Manager unfortunately not (in feb ‘19).

Tnx! We will try to get the one year, but last time they denied it because as General Manager you only get a 90 days visa now. In Penang, hopefully The Hague gives a year. Fingers crossed.
