He has a 90 day Non B that expires on April 13. Can he get a regular 30 day extension. It doesn’t have to be Non B, just 30 days extra stay. (Without the Embassy Corona letter)

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Dutch passport holder cannot extend a Non-B visa beyond its expiry without obtaining a letter from the embassy. Upon expiration, the immigration office typically grants a 7-day stamp for departure, and one can only acquire a 30-day visa with the appropriate documentation, which may include the embassy letter.
Many of us are in the same (stressful) boat! Are you aware the Dutch embassy is now issuing letters? (The website doesn't explicitly state it is only for tourists, but they do ask for proof of a cancelled flight) I'm planning to write and ask.
No you can't, i am in the same situation, went to immigration yesterday. Once non B expires immigration will give you a 7 day stamp to leave the country. Only way to get a 30 day visa is to have the letter.
