after Mae Sai yesterday was ths morning at local immigration in Phayao to report along with my wife in and out in 15 mins, nice friendly officials , plus its only 10 mins from our house

correct and totally agree, if you follow the rules and visa requirements you can, live here,ok we all know its a pain in the arse, keeping everything updated and such but for all the people complaining about others, nobody asked you to come and live here,as all your comments aint gonna change anything,,,especially the Thaier than Thou Brigade

yep as you say if already done 2 land crossings they should of known, they could not,,,i did tell them to check with this site also

did not ask as they were already on there way to said Mae Sai Complex to get organised from there i suppose for a flight

as a matter of interest i was at Mae Sai yesterday travelling from Phayao, for my Multi 0 90 days extension arrived 8 30 was over and back at 11 30 after visiting duty free shop,for refreshments,,,,,was pretty quiet mainly Chinese / Japanese at border, also was speaking to a young couple Italian and Belgian nationalitys, who told me they got refused a land crossing to Myamar and were told to fly in even that they had a Myamar visa and were trying to book a flight from Chiang Mai,so a wasted jouney i suppose,,,

the op was asking for advice to which he got encouraging replys not the legality of said visa as in your understanding is void

so what your saying really he will not be allowed entry because you say it is void,,,

this was issued in UK with new British Passport not Thailand
