Need some help asap. Long story short. Here are the specifics.

- I hold a American passport.

- I study in Chiang Mai

- My ED visa ends on 10/25 (2 days from now)

- I am still awaiting my new ED visa which may be longer than 4 weeks

- I have not used any exemptions this year

I would like to make a border run that is cheap and gets me atleast 30 days. My questions are:

1. Does Mae Sai give 30 day tourist visas for border crossing?

2. Does anyone know of some good Visa service companies running vans to Vientiane or Mae Sai?

Looking for some help in regards to my AUSTRALIAN 6 Month Multi-Entry Visa.

I am located in Chiang Mai.

Can i extend my visa at immigration for an extra 30 days after each 60 day entry period, totaling my stay in thailand to 9 months?

Every 60/90 days ill have to do a border run. Im looking for the cheapest/closest/most convenient border to renew my visa. Ive heard MaeSai is only 4 hours away by bus. Is there any other border u guys can reccomend for me? Can someone point me in the direction on how i can organise transport to MaeSai, and is MaeSai suitable for my type of visa? Can they give me the full 60 days entry upon renewal?

Any and all information is helpful, im not experienced with this! (asap as my first visa entry expires tomorrow lol!)
