One guy commented and I believe very accurately if they ended the amnesty on the 31st they could not physically get all of the Foreigners out of the country in that short of time. There just aren’t that many planes taking off on international flights. What I’ve heard is most international flights have been canceled

which Thailand are you living in? The officials have at their discretion how they except and apply the regulations I have seen variations right before my eyes the same day with different officers. One officer would not except a photocopy of bankbook and required a bank copy of bank statement. I had the official letter qualifying the account plus the bank statement from the bank. Mine was rejected because they insisted I needed a copy of bankbook , welcome to. Thailand; most of the time they have Farang chasing their tails ...

I noticed this year, for 90 day check ins and this extension of stay everyone was much more polite. Maybe they figured out they won’t have a job if they keep berating the Foreigners.

For Chiangmai immigration this is a big improvement. It’s just a report of what’s going on currently in Chiangmai.

Earlier this year some guys reported that they needed just show up early and queue up or have to come back the next day.

I don’t know. I guess it’s just an extension I’ve never asked them. Just fill out the application and make sure you have all the accompanying documents and you’ll be fine. I am amused at some people that can’t do it without an agent and spending all that money 555

You just fill out a new TM 7 Present them with the rest of the documents that you used this year and they extend it for another year. Which is what I just did. This is my fourth year
