I thought my phone crapped out. I can see translations in other languages like italian and portuguese but no thai. Glad Im not alone. Im in a lot of thai groups and heavily depend on translation. Now I gotta bug my wife every damn time I want to know somethin.
im chinese but Im brown. In tanned af and many will mistake me for a malay. And in so many ways thai and malaysia share the same cultures and values and even beliefs. Certainly not as far as european countries.
true, and since Im a Malaysian, I look like them too, so much so no one has ever thought I was non Thai until I open my mouth. Lol! Got no problem mixing with the locals because Malaysia and Thailand are not far apart in our cultures.
Im from Malaysia and sometimes I jokingly refer to myself as farang to my wife. She looks at my brown ass and tells me "you are not white so shut yo ass up". 🤣
1. Because thailand is still better than a lot of places now. 2. Some have family here but are not married. 3. Its people's choice to be where they want to be.
90% thais vs 10% expats/tourists. Its a no brainer, why narrow your market yeah? I also noticed that if you sold the right things at the right place, the local's purchasing power is very high.
