no worries, I also had the same worries when I found out but looks like it can be sorted out although it is always better to cancel before leaving which we can do next time now that we know

I also didn’t realise I had to cancel my extension of stay and left before the expiry date but my school said I can cancel when I come back and that there shouldn’t be any issues since I wasn’t aware I had to do it and they have had similar cases with other students and I also left before the extension of stay expired.

okay, thank you. I will definitely have a return flight booked back to England and I did extend my education visa once at the 90 day mark the last time I was there since it was a 6 month visa so that stamp is in my passport. I didn’t realise how strict they can be. I understand that some people don’t have issues whereas others do, it just depends on the immigration officer.

haha no I’m in my 20’s so can’t do that yet. I may look into a non immigrant oa visa though as the DTV funds requirement is too high for me right now.
