Hi, sorry if this is a stupid question or if it’s been answered before, but in the TDAC form when it says ‘Country/Territory where you boarded’ do I select UK as that’s the beginning of my journey or do I select Qatar which is where I’ll have my connecting flight? Thank you in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When filling out the TDAC (Thailand Declaration Form), travelers are advised to select the country where their journey began. Most commenters suggest choosing the UK if it is the origin of the trip, regardless of connections in Qatar. They emphasize that since the form is intended to reflect the starting point of the journey, it should typically be the UK unless a different flight was boarded in Qatar. It's also important to ensure this information matches what has been submitted on the visa application.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be agents.co.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

I always put the flight i am arriving on as it does say its an arrival card

I put where I boarded and started my journey, UK. The connecting flight was delayed and flight number changed so it would have been pointless to put that, especially as I didn't start my journey there. It was accepted as UK and I'll stick to that next time too.

Its where you started that mainly of use to them if you have come from a yellow fever country and then have to do health declaration and submit yellow fever card. Not applicable to you

Either, they'll both be accepted.

If you applied for visa , cos your over the 60 days , then I would put what you put on the visa. I am connecting Dubai and I put Dubai, as the place where I am boarding to Bkk I also put this on the visa, was all accepted . I would imagine it has to match the visa.I am also coming from UK

hi Jason I'm not sure that it matters as I have flown from uk via dubai aswell and still used uk as my starting point and then used the flight number from dubai to bangkok as the arrival flight, again never a problem. From my perspective since I live in the uk not dubia or doha then if there was an issue i dont want to be returned to my transfer airport but to my country of origin which is the uk, thats the reason I always say uk is where I started my journey

I have flown many times from uk via doha and always put from UK as that was the start of my journey then I put the flight number as that from Qatar to bangkok. Every time it has been accepted
