and im speaking of just today cause I forgot my IDP in my condo and was pulled aside in a check point into chiang mai so yeah pretty sure either this is just random BS not implemented or traffic police didnt get the memo or I just got lucky.
Wasn't that i was directed to pull aside i passed a car going slow into a curb and right where the cop was standing, thats what I get for being slick
From my understanding if you do not have perm resident visa in thailand you have to report if you are in thailand for 90 consecutive days.
Also my understanding they have an app you can use to do your 90 day check in its in the thai immigration website you can report there upload a digital tm.47 or down load the app from their website as well
again ... you do not need a thai bank account to show funds you just repeated what I said with extra steps... he is better off doing this in his home country applying for visa doesn't sound like he will have time. You people here Crack me up you rush to say "no your wrong..." then explain how I was right anyway
of course it's not offical till its done. I dont see why people are worried exempt status going from 60 to 30 .. 30 days is more then enough time to visit here ans go home. If Someone wishes to stay longer for a reason then find the appropriate visa for that stay and pay for it. People who gain the system is abusing a privledge and mess it up for everyone else. I spent 4 years planning my stay and once I arrived I paid the money to upgrade my visa to ed visa doing it the honorable way
its actually not fake it is in the plan they are also looking st removing the DTV and replacing it with a 10 year tourist visa and the land contracts going to 99 years from 30 year with 30 year extension.
The expected roll out is July August as sit sits now after China visited to discuss matters after they bowed to trump tariffs plan
However the US and Kingdom of thailand has signed an agreement of mutual tariffs along with visa changes to promote buisness to establish here easier as well.
