TLDR : Answer Summary
When preparing to set up a will for assets in both the US and Thailand, it's strongly advised to create separate wills for each country due to differing legal jurisdictions. A US will will not have power over Thai assets and vice versa. Many expats recommend engaging a local lawyer in Thailand for drafting a Thai will, which can be done affordably through local government offices or solicitors. Also, ensure that the will includes clear instructions about asset distribution, and consider creating bilingual documents for clarity.

Thai will needs to done with a lawyer, and it may need to be bi-lingual. It is only for assets in Thailand. You will need a separate will for the US.

I did one will here written in Thai and English specifying my Thai assets go to my Thai partner and my usa assets go to my son. The executor in Thailand is the law office and the executor in usa is my son. 2 notorized copies. One for law office and one for my son.

Get separate wills for each country. A US will has no power here.
