I think immigration would question the people staying in Thailand the maximum amount of time the visa allows, rather than people coming and going all the time.

yeah I’m guessing the U.K. taxes are way higher than Thailand’s, same as Aust. I’m in the same situation with my rental there.

thanks mate. Yeah I’ve looked already, we have a tax treaty with Thailand so if you’re taxed in Aust you can’t get double taxed in Thailand. Thailand also doesn’t tax civil service pensions including military (I’m a vet). Doesn’t mean you don’t have to submit your tax each year if here over the 180, but need to show the evidence so you don’t have to pay more tax.

Anonymous participant 319 I don’t pay taxes here because I pay them in Australia, but I bring a lot of my money into Thailand. I wish my pay was taxed here and not Australia, the taxes are less here lol

Well it actually did because international permits are higher fine amounts than Thai licenses

I got mine, didn’t help when I ran a red light on the weekend 😂
