First hand experience. If you deliberately ran the dog over you must compensate owner 20,000 baht. If the dog ran in front of you and ended up being killed. You have no responsibility. My landlord is a lawyer and gave me this information when i killed a dog. The owner asked me to take the dog to a vet but I refused. I didn't want to get landed with vet's bill. The owner had a car.

what should i re-enter on?

I'm confused about what I have to do. I have an O A long stay visa which of course requires TGIA health insurance. I have a private health insurance but it's not with one of the approved companies. I want to change to O. I have the required funds all year in the bank. I also have a contract for accomodation. How should I go about changing from O A to O? I know that I should exit Thailand WITHOUT re-entry permit so that it voids my O A visa.
