Ok perfect and my flights actually coming back in on september third because I didn't want to chancee that. And it is my understanding that this time I need to get a thai insurance policy. I would like to buy the cheapest Thai policy. I can find since I always have a traveler's policy anyway. Do you offer recommendations on such a policy.

OK so my non oa visa expires (as well as my insurance on September 9). If I fly back into the country on September 8th with a yearlong insurance policy and a re entry permit, would get the automatic extra year?

Can you clarify something for me? I am on non oa visa that I applied for in the USA and never opened a Thai bank account.

Is my only requirement a Thai insurance policy for the one year extension. I am leaving the country in two weeks and won’t be back in until September, a few days before the one year expiration .

I actually was not going to renew it because people are telling me I need to have a Thai bank account with funds in it in order to renew. I never did that because of the obstacles involved in opening an account. I was under the impression I needed to purchase a Thai insurance policy and then just get a re-entry stamp on my way out of the country. I never did any check ins with immigration because I have not been in Thailand for 90 consecutive days during this whole time.

Required with usa as well. I.always had to bring a notarized letter.
