I guess because I came off a student visa recently and they said alot of people just get the ED visa to stay in the country longer and wanted to know why I wanted to be in Thailand for so long.

they denied my entry and threatened deportation if I didn't pay. It was at BKK airport immigration. Once getting to immigration they moved me to be interviewed
