If you comply to workcation rules, that is by far your best option, it legally allows remote work, and technically you need to be entolled in soft power activity when you enter the country. When you border bounce this normally is not enforced, but what is enforced can always change without any further notice.

just think about why they put this requirement in place. It is to prevent you from having your friends and family set up crowd funding actions if sonething bad happens with you. There is absolutely no valid argument why the money should be necessary only when you apply.

Therefore it is a visa requirement, not only something you have to show when you apply like salary slips. The 500K is clearly stated as visa requirement. Only when it should not be maintained full time or for full amount it should be stated. This is also the reason that immigration checks when you extend? Just use common sense, why should requirements be different when you extend? The only thing is when you border bounce, chances to get away with not following requirements are much higher. On the officual evisa website the words used to describe financial requirements are exactly the same for retirement, DTV and staying with family visa, so when your statement was true, requirement and marriage don't need to keep the money in their account, but everyone with such a visa knows better.
