It may be worth bringing in a Thai-speaking friend to clarify this with the IO. If they want your landlord to guarantee your stay I believe they should be giving you another form. Good luck! 😊

Hi Federico! I am half Thai and just wanted to help you out with the translation. This is a residence certificate. The part where it says you do not pay rent also asks the person guaranteeing to confirm that you are also their spouse.

Is the visa extension available for former Non-B Visa holders who went onto amnesty, or is it limited to tourists?

Hi Isabelle, don’t quote me on this as we have been told different things from different entities (🤦🏻‍♀️) but we were told that it was available to former Non-B visa who went onto amnesty as well!

The one-stop service at Chamchuri Square said that in order to process a new Non-B, we would have to ‘cancel’ the previous Non-B that was expired first, before going into an extension, then re-apply for the Non-B..
