you should go check your information.

Any foreigner can go get any multiple types of jabs. Yes they have a short supply but that's being worked out. The Thai people themselves have to take what ever jab is offered or they have to pay for moderna that's not even here yet. But they can't even sign up for all the different things the foriegners can. I actually got fully vaccinated before my wife got her first jab.

Oh and they haven't blamed whitey for covid since it first started.

Thailand has always had arduous processes. Just most never had to deal with them and now they do.

Not much different then if you were applying for a 6 month tourist visa from the states pre covid. Did it many times.

I understand it may seem absurd to most. Buy these requirements were there for all who wanted an actual visa. It's just that most never needed to get one.

Why is it always they will never get tourists with the processes and requirements they have? Maybe they won't get you as a tourist. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

But they will still get plenty to start bringing money in.

Lots of places. Lookup visa waiver program for Thai nationals and you should find a list of places that don't require visas.

But also I found it was much easier for them to go in and out with me traveling with them.

yes. You go up the escalator one level and it's right in front of you. Usually takes them about an hour or two.

I did the embassy letter, passport copy certification and translation of both, and submit to MFA all in one day. Started at 8am at the embassy and was done with the MFA by 2pm I believe. And that was even going to the wrong MFA.πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

There is also a copy machine at the MFA to make copies of everything.

The MFA certification was done in three days I believe.

and best to use the translator services at the MFA even if it costs a bit more. Less chance of them regecting the translation.

Also make sure that your wife checks the translation of your name for accuracy. That will be the official translation of your name.

yes you are correct that Thailand can not control your home country asset distribution and vice versa.

But from my understanding is that thailand will reach out to your home country immediate family members for anyone to lay claim to your assets in thailand. Even if you have a will in thailand that says what is supposed to happen to them.

The few people I have talked to who have set up wills in country have been told to have a will in your home country to free any claim of assets you have in thailand, even if you have no assets in your home country. And that your home country will should be a part of and filed with your Thai will.

@Dave ***************
but the will in thailand is useless without one in your home country stating that your Thai will is in existence.

@Dave ***************
actually if you die out of your home country anyone that is part of your family from your home country has more rights to it. Get a will made up in thailand and in your home country.
