Can I extend my Thai visa for 60 days due to COVID if I have a family visit visa expiring on December 30?

You are right it is not a visa but a one year extension of stay, based on having Thai family. It is for women (probably not men?) over 50, dependent on an adult Thai child but there is NO financial requirement. It seems to be a very unusual visa extension which Thai officials have never heard of either! I think very few people qualify......
