thank you. When I entered Thailand visa free the last time immigration gave me a hard time. I will get a Visa in Vietnam and proceed once I m in Thailand. I have a lease and I have a bank account.

Thank you. I can get a Non-O at any Thai embassy / consulate, not necessarily my country of residence (Canada) ? Also, what about going forward, are they renewable yearly. I mean can I get extensions or have to Re apply ?
