The school told me to go to Chiang Mai whereas I see that place is in Bangkok. I'll go back to the school on Monday and find out what/where in Chiang Mai they were trying to tell me I could get one done.

Thank you to
@Benjamin *****
for replying with friendly advice instead of accusations. We are as confused as the rest of you and this is the whole truth. I am a New Zealander and I have two old passports with the corners cut as that is the process here and I too keep them purely for sentimental value I guess.

The ask:thailand community, consisting of multiple Q/A groups with over 100,000 members, powers this platform. It is not an official government resource. Our members actively contribute to this resource, and while we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee its complete reliability. Assistance to travelers is provided as a community service.
