Thanks for the info guys. What about my second question? Let's say I go to Vietnam for a while and while I'm there I apply for a SETV before returning to Thailand. Can I do that with a US passport but show a bank statement from a Mexican account? Or would it be better to just enter Thailand again on a 30-day Visa Exemption? Or can I just carry the required amount in cash so they know I'm not broke?
