In addition to all the above, did you get a new passport / new extension / new tm 30 in the meantime? Those could also be reasons why it doesn't work.

OK so I visited MTT. They said the reason they wanted a new TM30 report is because the law changed in June and my last entry was in January this year. I did not update my TM30 then. Apparently, my last 90 day report passed without any questions "because of Covid".

They assured me that with this new updated TM30 I don't have to report anymore, not when I travel in Thailand, not when I travel abroad, only when I change my address. I'm still a bit confused, but hope this helps others.
