You need to contact the embassy and ask them if they approve of parents sponsoring an adult child. Embassies differ in their sponsorship approvals.

Yeah, you would think they expected to be grilled on numbers and came prepped. The article says it has attracted more than 35,000 applicants. That does not mean approvals, some of those applicants are rejected. Still 35K applications is lower than expected.

Approvals have been made with just a final balance of 500K THB but some reports recently Vietnam is asking for 3 months seasoning.

How long does it take to apply for a 5-year DTV Muay Thai visa in Malaysia compared to neighboring countries?

Malaysia is the most difficult place to get approval. Much easier to get approved within 3 weeks in Vietnam, Indonesia, Manilla. Cambodia and Laos are good but can take 4-6 weeks
