the issue with the embassy letter is I am south african, but haven't worked in south africa for 15 years. My last employment was in south korea. Would a letter from the korean embassy do?

Thanks! Bloody visa services tell me that the 40,000 a month is not possible fr a spousal visa, only for the retirement one! It's easy for me to do the 40,000 Bht bit, I can also do the 400K one but it needs to be in a bank for 3 months.
