I don’t really know what your options are but I suppose you are going to have to leave at some point

yeh no good from the Uk. It’s called an STV visa.

@Nick ******
yeh the normal tourist visa which is 60 days plus 30 days extension. Just need to have had £12,800 in a U.K. bank account for the last 6 months 👍

The aren’t issuing ED Visa’s for private language schools out of Thailand for sure. Well certainly not the U.K. anyway. I have all my documents from the school and ministry of education because I was meant to start my course in January. The Embassy confirmed multiple times they aren’t issuing them so now I will travel on a tourist visa 👍

@Alvaro *****
but I’m 99.9% sure for the visa it’s only the accommodation after the ASQ and for the COE it’s just the ASQ booking

@Alvaro *****
Not sure but send both anyway if you have them. One confirmed ASQ booking and one up in the air agoda booking confirmation which you don’t need to pay for

To get the COE they want the ASQ booking and not accommodation for after the ASQ

it was like that for other visa’s. If you are applying for 60 day tourist visa you need

- flight booking

- hotel booking

- bank statements for past 6 months over £12,800

Once you have the visa in your passport you can apply for a certificate of entry. You will need

- flight booking

- bank statements

- ASQ booking

- sufficient insurance

only accounts that you can access money from so don’t mention that part and just send a statement
