time to offer visas to those under 50 years also.

As of now the options are only ed visa which you have to attend classes,investment visa which is expensive same as the elite visa.

There are no visas for those under the age of 50 years that are not expensive/ eating your time.

yes few hours a week but I think they will still have time to work illegally, if people could stop working illegally and get their stuff together and get a work permit there wouldn’t be crackdown after crackdown.

Now those that work illegally will move to ed visa.

this will affect genuine tourist who are tourist for long time.

If you want get rid of people work illegally, don’t destroy for those are genuine not illegally people also, ask rather for a bank statement so they can prove they have income from abroad.

But just let’s throw everyone under the same stone.

now I’m here as a tourist but if I decide to live here for 2-3 years or more the investment visa makes sense to me and as you said I can buy a condo and stay in it, it’s time to save money for some years then 👍

I’m aware of some of those options, but those on retirement visa or are married, don’t need to work or attend classes which makes it easier to do whatever day want here... there are no visa for those under 50/not married to a thai for only living here like the retirement visa, you have to do something, but the elite visa 20year costs 1 million baht I think, so that’s one option.

Over 50/ married, easy stay.

If they could simply introduce new types of visa for those that fell into that category things will be different.
