I went in and out of Thailand several times with no questioning or issues while on ED. The main thing is to go to a known and reputable school and while on ED. But yeah there are many other options. Also depends on which country passport you have: they have different standards for different passport holders too.
actually I had zero issues under the student visa. I have the school contact that I went to. You get your visa stamped at Thai immigration every 2-3 months.they even had online options to study from home in zoom. I’m not sure what the rules are now but I had zero issues while on it. I can ask the school for an update if you like.
Nomad insurance is a good option . When I lived in Bangkok I got a student visa for 8 months year to study Thai twice a week. There are various options these days
and I am fine with doing that. Since I’ll be in Thailand full time. I’m just looking for recommendations for schools in phuket. The online thing is not the end all. I’ll edit that.
