Hi group, I have a retirement visa, been working in UK for the summer and going back to Thailand and same address as before. Do I need to report my address to immigration and then report again in 90 days. Tia

TLDR : Answer Summary
When returning to Thailand on a retirement visa, you generally need to ensure your address is reported to immigration. While the property owner is responsible for submitting a TM30 form within 24 hours of your return, you must also confirm your residence every 90 days through the TM47 report. Some immigration offices may have different policies, so it’s advisable to check with your specific office. Returning on a re-entry permit to the same address might exempt you from filing a new TM30, but this varies by location.

I was told at the Jomtien office if you return on a re entry permit to the same address you do not have to file a new one

If you live in a condo, they may be able to do it for you.

You need to ask your immigration officer what their policy is for TM30. Most require you to file a new TM30 when you return from overseas, but not every office does.

You will need to do your TM47 90-day report as usual after you've been in Thailand for 90 days. You will have to do it in person at your immigration office each time you return from outside the country.

I returned from couple of weeks in UK mid July. Did my 90 day online the other day. So, I didn't go to IO in person

Though mid-July means it's only been about 60 days since you returned and you aren't due for a 90 day report.

not due for tm47 until 90 days after return and it probably needs to be done in person after a trip.

most people are having theirs rejected with the message that the first one after returning must be done in person. But it doesn't hurt to try online

tbh it normally gets rejected. But this time I went through the th gov immigration website. Whether that made a difference, not sure. But it worked this time.

Yes. Technically the house owner has to report you within 24 hours. But you're the one who incurs the wrath of immigration if its not done. And you confirm you're still there every 90 days.
