I entered with a TR 60 visa on Nov 26 as a Canadian. I'm looking to stay as long as possible. Is my only possible extension the 30 day one? Is there a covid extension? If so when can I apply for it?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A Canadian holding a TR 60 visa can initially extend their stay by applying for a 30-day extension at any immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht. It's important to use this 30-day extension before attempting to apply for a COVID-19 extension, which may be available depending on the current regulations when the initial extension expires.

You can apply for a 30days extension at any immigration office. Cost is 1900baht. As for the 60 days covid extension, if it's still being offered by the time your 30days extension is over then you can apply for that as well.

You never know what the situation is going to be down the road. If I were you I would look to switch to an Education when your tourist visa or first extension expires. Contact the school or Muaythai gym to help you with that.

You have to use the 30 day extension before you can apply for the covid extension.
