TLDR : Answer Summary
The cost for a student visa (Non-Immigrant ED Visa) in Thailand varies by school and location, generally around 24,000 to 40,000 THB for a year, plus additional charges for extensions (approximately 1,900 THB every 90 days). Schools set their own fees and requirements, which need to be confirmed directly with them. The visa can be valid for the duration of the enrolled program, typically up to a maximum of 3 years.

Anyone knows how long we can keep this ed visa ? Some say 1 year, some say 3 years...
no way. 🤣😂 A Non-Imm-ED visa takes you to a maximum of 3 years. I am a language school connaiseur, I don't know of students who have managed to exceed three years. After 3 years Immigration, if you still don't speak Thai fluently, will laugh out loud if you try to circumvene the requirements. This stupidity will actually prevent you from switching to a longstay visa. With a history of three years ED visa in your passport and your Immigration file, you become laughing stock
