TLDR : Answer Summary
The availability of ED visas for entry into Thailand is quite limited. Currently, only international students enrolled in recognized Thai university degree programs can apply for an ED visa and gain entry. Those wishing to enroll in private international schools or are outside of Thailand cannot obtain this visa. Applicants also face standard COVID-19 entry requirements such as quarantine and comprehensive paperwork, making it crucial to start the application process well in advance.
At this time ONLY international students enrolled in a real thai university for a degree program can request permission to enter the country AND they are subject to the same quarantine, insurance requirements, fit to fly paperwork, certificate of entry procedure as the other people who are allowed to request permission to enter thailand.
People who are thinking of enrolling in a private school are not allowed to apply for permission to enter the country yet..
No not if your outside of country unless its at a university for a degree or private international school students. Its all clearly explained on the Thai Embassy website for London.
Not officially but there are ways around it (agents) But if you need it before the 26th then you are already too late. Need about 4-5 weeks for the paperwork. If anyone says they can do it quicker then it is likely a scam.
