I was planning to return to Thailand with the 60 days upon entry, in February. Now I seem to be reading that Somehow I must return to immigration to show TM 30 or tm something after I arrive? They may be making it too challenging …I would appreciate some clarification upon entry please.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When returning to Thailand on a 60-day visa exemption, you typically do not need a TM30 unless you are applying for a visa or a 30-day extension. The TM30 is filed by your house owner or hotel and is primarily needed if you will interact with immigration for specific services. Most hotels will file this automatically for you. However, requirements can vary by immigration office, and some may require an updated TM30 even if you re-enter at the same address. Generally, as a tourist, you would not need to worry about a TM30 unless your circumstances change.

If you stay anywhere on any visa other than tourist visa you need to complete tm30

If you are on the 60 day visa exemption then you are a tourist and have no need of a TM30 unless you are applying for a visa or a 30 day extension.

This varies between immigrations. Some require an updated TM.30 even if you re-enter to the same address. Most immigrations don’t.

A TM30 is something your house owner or hotel files. You won’t need to have one unless you have need of interaction with immigration.

If they file online it takes them about 3 minutes or less to do so.
