I have been to Thailand 2 times this year from April and then did border run in May.

June i went to Malaysia and then to bali . I will be reentering Thailand in September for 3rd time.

Will i be allowed to enter Thailand 3rd time but after around 3 months. ??

Also if i am not allowed how can i enter again

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about entering Thailand for the third time in September after multiple trips this year. The community suggests that entry will likely be permitted despite general guidelines indicating a limit on entries, especially if arriving from a non-border country. Attendees relate personal experiences, indicating successful entries without issues and noting the importance of how one presents themselves to immigration officers. Several advise dressing well and maintaining composure when interacting with immigration.

I have just entered for the 5th time as well since October and always for a month at a time. From what I read as long as you are flying in from a non neighbouring country of Thailand there is no limit to the amount of entries. If you enter by land there is a limit of 2 entries per calendar year.

It can be problematic if you ask for a new visa or exemption after 6 months staying here, and after 2 extensions stamps, for what I heard.

But not less

No worries! I entered Thailand in February this year for 14 days,April for 13 days, and came back on the 2nd June; with no onward ticket. Went straight through Immigration with no issues. I have a visa exemption stamp for all those occasions; though did extend for 30 days at Immigration in Pattaya. And went on a border run on the 30th July; got a re entry stamp valid until the 27th September. I appreciate some folks have problems, but I would also suggest there are too many unnecessary scaremongers on Facebook!

1) dress nice. Don’t look like a backpacker. Be well groomed and don’t wear a Bob Marley t-shirt. Make sure you have had a shower recently.

2) try to use a male immigration officer. My experience is they can be more lenient.

3) if questioned the main thing is to remain calm. Don’t get angry or show emotion

No problems with how many times , as long as you exited on or before visa date

They will now stamp for 60 days

Have gone 4 times already this year

Their website says only twice per year but like most laws their it's not really enforced that much, as someone posted earlier depends if the immigration officer has had a bad hair day !

@Butch ******
twice in a calendar year was only for landborder entries and the restriction is now removed

no nothing..I have no extensions and always left about a week before my stamp expired..I am a tourist and travel about staying at hotels so I guess they see the pattern I'm of no concern to them but that's not to say I won't get questions the next time I come which is hopefully January for 3 months..I think it makes sense to fly to a nearby country for a week or two enjoy asia and keep coming in until I'm told otherwise.!
