Sharing my experience at chaengwattana immigration today.
My new school tried to sponsor me for an extension as I am on amnesty since last week from switching jobs.
I was denied because I couldn’t provide the proper work permit. My school talked to immigration as to how I can get a new work permit/name changed on my previous WP. There is no way to do this as of right now.
As July gets closer schools and business will reopen, so they need to hire employees. There doesn’t seem to be concrete way to do this. Let’s see what happens as the borders open and things loosen up.
If anyone has any solutions or a different experience to this please feel free to comment.
Stay safe 🙏
