Hello, I am planning to apply for the DTV visa from the French embassy (I am French).

Are there any people who have had a recent experience with this embassy?

I intend to apply for the DTV visa with the freelance option, but I do not currently have a company established.

Can you confirm if having a SIRET number (company registration) is absolutely required?

I would also like to know if a single invoice as proof is sufficient for the French embassy?

Anyway, what I mean to say is that if anyone has had a recent experience with the French embassy, I am highly interested in hearing about it.

Thanks 🙏

Frankly I am doubtful about your getting the DTV visa as a Digital Nomad, workcation. You don't have a history of working to support your application.

Suggest you seek the DTV visa for a soft power activity, such as Muay Thai training, Thai cooking school, or a Thai culture course.

Workcation...

"Proof according to the reason for travel mentioned above:

"Workcation": Employment contract/Certificate of employment from the company in France specifying that you are still an employee, your job/position allows you to work remotely, and you will be paid by the company during your stay in Thailand and this merged with the company's trade register and your last pay slip. Otherwise, a professional portfolio showing the status of digital nomad, remote worker, highly qualified worker or freelancer. *Self-employed: a letter (in French and English) containing the following information: what your remote work consists of, what is the source of your income (bank transfer, PayPal, etc.), the address of your website (URL) or the freelance platform (Malt, Fiverr, Youtube, etc.) that you use where your profile must appear with your name, first name and photo and this merged with the Notice of situation in the INSÉE siren directory, with an invoice (dating from less than 3 months) and proof of this transfer to your account."
