TLDR : Answer Summary
An SHA Plus + hotel meets specific COVID-19 safety guidelines and ensures at least 70% of its staff is vaccinated. In contrast, a SHA Extra + hotel not only meets these criteria but also includes additional services such as transportation from the airport and a COVID-19 test with the room booking.

SHA+ means the hotel has met certain Covid guidelines and at least 70% of the staff is vaccinated.
SHA Extra+ means they are an SHA+ Hotel and a room you book includes transportation from the airport and Covid test.

I booked SHA+ hotel and paid for PCR test at Phuket. Applied for Thai pass earlier and added the receipt for the PCR under additional uploads. I received my Thai pass & QR code 15mins later!!
yes that was me. They created it because people weren't buying packages for Bangkok where you are required to have a package including those things and it was causing lots of problems. But Phuket never had packages so I don't know exactly how Phuket works now

Brandon Thurkettle. Is it possible to book SHA+ hotel for 1 night, then book the PCR test at Phuket
airport, or does it have to be an Extra hotel? I want to stay close to the airport as travelling to Krabi the following day, but I’m struggling to find Extra hotels on booking sites
Phuket uses a different system with the psas website to book your own test and not included with the hotel. I don't know why they have different systems especially when the Thailand Pass website says you have to have it included with your hotel.
