What does a TAT hotel refer to?
Whats a tat hotel?
Answer summary
The term 'TAT hotel' might confuse some, as it likely refers to SHA Plus hotels approved by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) for hosting travelers under the sandbox program, particularly during COVID-19 regulations. SHA Plus hotels have specific health and safety guidelines, including a high percentage of vaccinated staff. Comments also included jokes and references to the characteristics of such hotels.

In a TAT hotel instead of finding a chocolate mint on your pillow you wake up the next morning with a tasteful tattoo of a butterfly on your bicep.
Or it could be the OP is talking about SHA Plus hotels:

Hand sanitizers are only for when you can’ t wash hands. Every hotel has hot water and soap?

I believe you are confused.
Do you mean TAT approved for sandbox
These are SHA plus hotels which are the only ones allowed for booking sandbox stays
SHA is TAT approved for various things.
SHA plus means they also have more than 70 % of staff vaccinated
