TLDR : Answer Summary
SHA+ is a certification for hotels, restaurants, and tours in Thailand that indicates they meet specific cleanliness and COVID-19 safety standards. Specifically, SHA+ means that at least 80% of staff at these establishments are fully vaccinated. For travelers, staying at a SHA+ hotel is a requirement for entry into Thailand, especially with the upcoming Thai Pass regulations. To obtain SHA+, travelers need to book accommodations that are SHA+ certified, which can usually be found on booking platforms like Agoda. If changing quarantine regulations impact the stay duration, it is advisable to book for a minimum stay initially, with options for adjustments or refunds as needed.
