Sorry about the anonymous post I don't usually do it but don't want a certain person bugging me. Done my second entry today at chiang khong and it was smooth asf. Leaving laos he said you only stayed one night but I had my print out to hand and (laminated with dtv print out on one side and soft power document on the other side.a smile and through in 2 mins max. On the thai side exactly the same but took a bit longer as the lady was interested about my cycle touring as I was entering with my touring bike.took about 3 mins max. Showed my dtv but she just passed it back to be with a โคกดีและปลอดภัยเดินทาง.

Oh and another thing,there was a yank trying g to get back to chiang khong,but he had no kip and 5 baht to his name and he wanted to pay the bus ticket by bank transfer.they obviously said no and he kicked off big time,effing and jeffing but did didn't get on the bus. He had no luggage and couldn't understand why he couldn't pay for the bus ticket by bank transfer!! Amused me!
I had family death and flew to Vietnam after entering Thailand for two weeks with DTV. I came back into Thailand without any questions. I then left to another country for businesses a month later. I came back into Thailand without any questions.
Which border you crossed? I had my first run at ban pakkad cambodian border, it was 15mins and i was back in my car heading back home, no questions asked. Now I have to go different border and Im thinking of vientiane during a road trip to north
