Hello, does getting an annual extension reset the schedule for 90-day reporting in the same way that exiting and re-entering the country does?

If my visa was due to expire on the 25th, and I got a one-year extension on the 23rd, do I still have to file a 90-day report that would have been due on the 24th, or should I start counting 90 days again from the 23rd (extension date)?

Thanks

Just wanted to give a quick review of annual extension for retirement at CW.

2 weeks ago I went to my scheduled appointment time and even with all the information I had to hand write my reasoning for switching provinces from Samut Prakarn to Bangkok. All in all it went pretty well and the officer said that they were working to do a fast approval and to come back today with an updated bank book and bank letter.

Arrived this morning and within about 15 minutes had that submitted and my passport returned with the stamp through March 2024.

I walked away telling myself that's great. Still a total of 2 trips but no under consideration stamp. I just paid today and got the yearly. Not sure if this is a growing trend or not. Plus side only 1 stamp in passport haha

They were really focused on the bank balances more so than I've had in previous years so guessing that's more a CW thing.

Thanks to Tod for privately answering a couple of questions I had prior to scheduling. As always very helpful.

Has anyone submitted their 90 days on line and gotten a message that said it was rejected? Just flew back from abroad first week of May and did my annual extension the following couple of weeks after.

On my last visit to Cheang Wattana last October to update my TM 30, I collected a new set of TM7 forms. Does anyone know if these forms have been amended since then, or have they stayed the same. Also, I’m shortly going to apply for my annual extension using the deposit of 65,000 Baht per month. Has anyone recently done their extension at CW using this method and has a list of all items required to be submitted with your application.

Are people needing to book a queue for non b annual extensions at CW? Other years you had to queue and get a number in the early morning but with limited seating I had heard they wanted people to book and get a QR code prior to arrival

I made an annual extension application based on Thai children on June 24th. The agents came home on July 8th and the 30-day consideration ended on July 24th. I went to immigration but they told me that they still have not had confirmation from the immigration division and to wait for them to call me by phone. And they told me that until September 26th I am covered with amnesty. Anyone have similar experiences, do I have to wait for the phone call or does the annual extension start from September 27th?

I am on an extension based on marriage at the moment. Before this expires I am thinking of getting the multiple non o visa from Savannakhet for 5000 baht, which doesn't require financial proof. My question is before that expires can i just go to lmmigration and revert back to a yearly extension, with the seasoned 400,000 baht in the thai bank. Many thanks.
