Today, the One Stop Immigration Service at Chamchuri Sq issued my annual non-imm B extension for a little over 13 months, supposedly valid from today until 12 December 2023... my question is whether that is normal, or, could prove problematic at 2023 renewal as will be over a year at that point?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user received a 13-month extension on their Non-Immigrant B visa, which is valid until December 12, 2023. They are concerned whether this duration is standard practice and if it could cause issues during the next renewal, particularly because it extends over a year. A comment suggests that typically, the duration of extensions reflects previous expiration dates, hinting that obtaining extensions beyond a year could be atypical.

What was the previous extension expiration date? As a rule they just add another year to your current expiration date.
