What is the process for extending a Non-Immigrant B visa in Thailand after an initial two-month extension?

Hi guys. I applied for a year extension on a Non-Imm B at Phuket Immigration. They considered it for a month during which time they appeared at my place of work to take photos. Then they granted me another two months. I am assuming I have to go back in with all the paperwork again and then it'll be a month, then another 2 months, and so on until the year is up. Is anyone on the page familiar with my situation? If so I would love to hear how you went about, whether you needed to bring in the paperwork each time or not and so on. Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for a year extension on a Non-Immigrant B visa at Phuket Immigration, received an initial two-month extension after a month of consideration, and is seeking advice on whether they need to resubmit paperwork for subsequent extensions. Community comments suggest that if the extension paperwork remains the same, resubmission is likely required.

It's very unusual. Usually South Africans get at least 6 x months on the first extension of stay and 1 year thereafter if they are satisfied you are here for the correct reasons. Picture with you teaching and at school etc all totally normal

If that's the case, then it means you must take the same application paperwork you took the first time you applied for the extension.

OK thanks a lot Todd, I thought so.

Did you get another "under consideration" stamp or does it say "extension of stay permitted until" ?
