If changing from retirement visa (after 5 years) to marriage visa, does the 400k still need to do the seasoning period ?

When renewing the Marriage visa they stamp you for one month and ask you to come back to get the full year stamp. During that one month do you need keep the full 400k in the bank or can it be reduced?

Please help me with this visa problem:

I will enter Thailand on a tourist visa in October and marry in November before applying for a spousal visa.

The marriage visa requirements stipulate that 400,000 THB must sit in a Thai bank account for two months prior to the visa application.

Last time I tried to open a bank account in Bangkok on a tourist visa I was turned away at three different banks.

Is there a way to open a bank account on a tourist visa, or am I missing something? (Might seem like a simple question but I haven't had any luck finding the answer)

I will be applying for a12 month extension on my retirement visa and have the required 800,000 in the bank. How do they check on the amount of 400,000 which is now required to be in situ for months? Is another trip to immigration required?

Hi my wife has just had a call from Udon Immigration, I was their in January to renew my extension to stay under marriage showed my bank statement over the 400000 in my account now have to show again, is this new? never had to do this before,does mean we have to keep over 400000 for longer time now, info would be great.
